Matteo has gained extensive professional experience and skills in commercial and corporate law, both in extrajudicial activities and litigation. He has deepened his study of the law of obligations and contracts and assists in the drafting and negotiation of various types of business contracts. In corporate law, he has experience in advising joint-stock companies and in disputes between shareholders, between shareholders and companies, and in liability actions against directors and auditors. In the field of business crisis and insolvency law, he has experience in assisting both the creditors of the company within the framework of crisis management tools and the company itself. Specifically, he has experience in both the execution of acts related to the crisis management procedure and the management of the company during the procedure.

He also has experience in banking law, assisting credit institutions and companies in both extrajudicial activities of drafting and negotiating financing contracts, guarantees, and related financial documentation (e.g., hedging strategy letter, equity commitment letter) and in judicial activities.

In addition to his professional activities, he engages in academic and research activities in civil law – he holds a Ph.D. from the University of Naples “Parthenope” and is a research fellow at the European University of Rome and Sapienza University of Rome. He is the author of several scientific contributions published in class A journals and collective works.
